American Environmental Services, Inc. (AES) was formed in 1988 to address the growing concern associated with the management of hazardous waste.  AES’ early years were spent managing large government contracts on military bases.  Since then, AES has developed into an environmental management company that serves both commercial / industrial clients, as well as government accounts.

     AES is a privately held corporation headquartered in suburban Pittsburgh, PA and provides comprehensive turn-key environmental services to both government and commercial clients throughout the continental United States.  Presently, AES operates service centers in 11 cities.  AES has the ability to integrate the necessary disciplines - analytical, operational, and technical - to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective environmental services.

     In 1999, AES opened the only treatment, storage, disposal facility (TSDF) in Morgantown, West Virginia.  The Morgantown facility is a fully permitted Part B Facility that can store and manage both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.  Recently, the Morgantown underwent some upgrades and serves as an aerosol recycling center.  For additional information contact AES for a copy of the Morgantown Audit Package.

     In January 2003, AES opened their second TSDF in Calvert City, KY.  The Calvert City Plant is a fully permitted treatment, storage, disposal facility for various types of waste.  The facility has a storage capacity of over 6,000 drum equivalents and the ability to service a vast number of customers throughout the United States.  The Calvert City Plant is capable of blending, processing, bulking and consolidating compatible waste streams.  The plant is also able to provide stabilization for some metals and pH adjustment for some corrosives.   For additional information contact AES for a copy of the Calvert City Audit Package.
